In response to the Perec reading in our seminar, I was tasked to Exhaust a place in Lincoln in term of aesthetic properties alone. This was a beneficial task as it gave me a more precise outlook regarding my surroundings, as opposed to simply looking from a 1-dimensional angle or perspective. This process allowed me to spot nuances in my surroundings that I would not have noticed before, therefore meaning I had a more precise and critical look on my surroundings, therefore making me consider in great detail what is contained within the frame in terms of my final piece, making them more effective overall.
